The Mothman write-up is way deeper now. The timeline pulled out from the original Mary Hyre reporting makes the whole thing feel stranger than the usual summary you see online. Whatever you make of it, the Nov 15 police statement is a real document.
The Mothman of Point PleasantSo... I was thinking, "The Mothman" based off the description is a misidentified Draco case. If you look into the description of the eyes, the neckless body shape, wingspan, it all seems like the description of a winged reptilian without getting a close enough look and then trying to compare to the only thing they could think of which back then was a moth. Look at the image of the reptilian in the species section and imagine how that would look as a silhouette, people described “no head” but thats because of the forward hanging muscular crocodile style head. Any thoughts on this?
I like that the Mothman page labels the image as a visual rendition instead of pretending it’s a photo. That one detail changes how the whole case reads.
The Mothman of Point PleasantI still don’t know what to make of Betz. The Navy’s check-valve explanation feels thin to me, but the wilder claims need separating too. The 1974 X-ray showing three internal masses is the part I keep coming back to.
Betz Mystery SphereNimitz is still the one I’d hand a skeptic first. Multiple trained observers, two separate radar systems, ATFLIR video, a four-day track window, and an on-the-record DoD acknowledgment in 2020. The pieces don’t require you to take anyone on faith.
USS Nimitz 'Tic Tac' EncounterRoswell is almost impossible to read cleanly unless someone lays the timeline out properly — the 1947 press release, the retraction, then nothing for 30 years, then Marcel’s 1978 interview. The expanded page actually does this and it changes the texture of the case.
Roswell IncidentThe Buga Sphere is weird because the image is genuinely compelling, but until someone gets the sphere into a truly independent lab with chain-of-custody it’s impossible to argue past the priors. I want every source separated properly before I form an opinion.
Buga Sphere: Colombia OrbReading Buga and Betz back-to-back is interesting. Same triangular indentation motif, fifty years apart, completely different chains of custody. Not saying they’re connected — but the visual rhyme is hard to ignore.
Betz Mystery SphereThe Gimbal / GoFast / Nimitz cluster feels like it needs its own collection page. Same time window, same pilots, related sensor data — they read better together than as three separate cases.
Gimbal EncounterIf anyone wants the strongest skeptical take on GoFast, look up Mick West’s parallax analysis. It’s the most coherent alternative I’ve read. Doesn’t resolve everything but it’s the one piece of skeptical work I keep returning to.
GoFast EncounterWhat I find honest about the Hill page is that it includes Dr. Simon’s own conclusion that the hypnotic regression was a shared psychological event rather than a literal abduction. Most write-ups of this case quietly drop that detail.
Betty and Barney Hill AbductionCan someone explain the strongest skeptical take on Phoenix Lights? I get that the 10pm Estrella stationary lights are flares — that part feels settled. It’s the earlier V formation across 300 miles I want both sides laid out for.
The Phoenix LightsSymington going from on-camera ridicule in 1997 to publicly reversing in 2007 is the part of Phoenix Lights that always stops me. Not proof of anything in itself, but a meaningful piece of social evidence.
